my works

here is a pic of all the LOs we did over Christmas. Pretty impressive I think for only getting to scrap a few hours at a time.

the rest are the last pages I did in 2009. They are not the best pictures...really need that perspective tool in Paintshop! But atleast they are posted and you can pretty much tell what they are. Now it is time to focus on 2010!!!! All paper is from either October Afternoon or Sassafrass Lass. The rub-ons are OA and stickers are Prima (I know weird that they are not flowers right?!)

Not a Total Slacker

Okay, so I don't get nearly as much scrapping done as the Jenne girls, but this will prove I'm not a total craft slacker. A friend asked me to make this for her to give to her sister for Christmas. It's been a while since I made one of these. I was pretty fun. I think this might be my favorite recipe box yet; I just love black and white color combinations.

before 2009 ends

and it's been a good one. I am impressed with how many layouts we have posted this year but think we should set a goal for 2010. What do you say? Anyone up for a challenge? These ones I started earlier this week and wanted to get them done before the new year rang in! I really like how they turned out and both ideas were scraplifted from Two Peas . I actually really like their member gallery and have thought about putting my layouts on there too since you know I have so much free time and all!

and the rest! Whew its' done!

A few more

So here are SOME from last week. It sure takes awhile posting all these so I hope someone appreciates them! J/k Maegen and I went to town, but don't worry I still have plenty of pictures to scrap in January for our crop night!

Mostly stamped on this layout with some of Maegen's cool flowery stamps. I even colored in some of my stamps which Maegen gave me a hard time for!

My Mind's eye paper, Studio QK font, pink AC thickers, stamps and random embellishments

Chicago QK font, brown AC stickers, stars cut from My Minds Eye pp, other My Minds Eye pp

Old Scenic Route pp, AC pink thickers, cool stamps of Maegen's, ribbon and flowers

This week

So I am going to go backwards. These are the layouts I have worked on this week. I will then post my layouts from scrappin with Maegen last week. Don't ask why. I am now using Adobe Photoshop. I wouldn't call me an expert on it but maybe with time. Also, is there a tool for straightening like in Paintshop?

I just used bazzill on this layout. I cut the patterns out on my silhouette. I think it turned out 100% percent cute!

This is old school using Studio 8 that I found at the bottom of my stash. I also cut face and the cool do hickey ({ i forgot what this was called) with the silhouette. The other embellishments are stuff I had including a journaling card from my Mind's eye.

Days 10, 11, 12 and 13

Day 10: you saw the front of 10 in the last post. it is an acrylic scallop square. i journaled about my holiday decor right on the photo (use a marker for slick surfaces...sharpie PEN (not a sharpie) or the American Crafts Slick Writers work great too).
Day 11: This is actually the page for Day 22. I carefully peeled off the numbers and switched them. The blue paper just made more sense for today. I documented about how COLD it has been here lately. It has been serious heavy coat weather. And yes, it did snow one night. (I got the idea to print out the weather report from my BF Ali Edwards)

Day 12: Just a 4x6 pic with a white boarder. Then on the back I printed the journaling and 2 more pictures.

Day 13: simple, I just printed off a CD case from Itunes and cut it to fit the page. Then journaled around the edge. (yes, journal can be used as a verb too). There is nothing on the back.

Days 8 and 9

Day 8: simple, just one picture and journaling on the back.

day 9: sheet protector with pictures and journaling on the back.

oh look you get a sneak peek of day 10 since it is in the same picture as the back of day 9. lucky you.

December Daily

I wanted to do something different for Christmas this year. Instead of doing 100,000 Christmas Layouts I decided to go along with our friend Ali Edwards and make a December Daily Mini. I convinced my new friend Heather to do it with me. And here is the result so far. I really love it.
Most PP chipboard and stickers are Crate Paper. **Heather, click on the image to make it larger, then you can really see what I did!

(day 7 I wrote a letter to C and will put a pic of his Christmas outfit in the pocket he didn't go to church this week(slacker)so it will have to wait till next Sunday)
